Dr. Linsen Li is an associate professor of Chemical Engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He obtained his PhD at University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2015. After working at MIT as a postdoc for two years, he joined SJTU on 2017/09. Linsen has been working on materials and devices for energy storage and advanced characterization techniques. He has published more than 70 research papers at high-impact journals and applied for 21 patents (8 issued). He is the recipient of China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation Technological Invention First-Prize Award, the Shanghai Rising Star Fellowship, and the Journal of Materials Chemistry A Emerging Investigator Award. His research group primarily works on battery cathode materials (e.g. single-crystal NCMs and slightly Li-rich nickel oxides), SEM-Raman-NanoSIMs-EBSD correlative techniques, and Na-ion batteries.
