Janse Van Rensburg, Angelique 

Dr. Angelique Janse van Rensburg currently serves as Head of Cell Chemistry and Methods at the BMW Group in Munich. Prior to joining BMW in early 2022 as Innovation Manager for Cell Technology, Dr. Janse van Rensburg worked for different OEMs in Germany leading multi-functional teams for targeted cell development. Before moving to Germany, Dr. Janse van Rensburg was a research engineer and senior lecturer at the Faculty of Engineering of the North-West University in South Africa. In addition to lecturing in electric circuit techniques and linear systems, she supervised postgraduate students, published battery-related research and consulted for industry. Dr. Janse van Rensburg is a member of The Electrochemical Society and holds a PhD in Computer and Electronic Engineering with a focus on physics-based cell modelling and electromotive force characterization.
