Choi, Jang Wook

Prof. Choi is currently a Professor in the School of Chemical and Biological Engineering at Seoul National University, Korea. His research programs span material and cell design in diverse lithium-ion and post-lithium-ion batteries, along with health diagnosis of battery cell. He received his B.S degree from Seoul National University in 2002 and Ph.D. from California Institute of Technology in 2007 in the area of molecular electronics and electrochemistry. He conducted postdoctoral research at Stanford University in the field of lithium‐ion batteries from 2008 to 2010. He has performed his independent research at Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) from 2010, after which he relocated to Seoul National University in 2017.
