Bresser, Dominic

The research activities of Dominic Bresser and his group of about 35 PostDocs, PhD and Master students at the Helmholtz Institute Ulm (HIU) and Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), Germany, focus on the development of advanced lithium and sodium batteries, including new and optimized inorganic and organic electrode materials, sustainable electrode processing technologies, liquid, polymer and hybrid electrolyte systems as well as redox-active polymers. In addition, he is serving as the editor-in-chief for the recently launched Journal of Power Sources Advances (Elsevier). He has been recently awarded with the Carus Medal and Carus Award for his scientific achievements by the German National Academy of Sciences Leopoldina.
