01 — Overview
An Invitation to Host the 25th International Meeting on Lithium Batteries (IMLB-2030)
Since 1987, the International Meeting on Lithium Batteries (IMLB) has stood as a global energy storage forum where scientists, engineers, and industry leaders converge to advance lithium battery systems. Every other year, thousands gather—not merely to present, but to define the trajectory of energy storage.
The IMLB Board is now accepting bids from national and local organizing committees wishing to host IMLB 2030. All candidates are invited to submit a PowerPoint proposal and deliver a live presentation at the Board meeting on Sunday, June 16, 2026 at 6:00 PM at the Palais des Congrès de Montréal, during the IMLB 2026 conference.
Following all presentations, the Board will deliberate and cast a formal vote to select the host city. The decision will be announced at the banquet and the closing ceremony of IMLB 2026.
