Yoshiyuki Morita is the Chief Engineer of Innovative Research Excellence at Honda R&D, where he leads sustainable energy storage materials groups focused on next-generation electric vehicles (EVs).

Since 2000, he has been engaged in the development and establishment of next-generation fuels, heat exchangers, and energy storage technologies for automotive applications, including bioethanol, thermally conductive carbons, and all-solid-state batteries. His areas of expertise include materials discovery using machine learning, inorganic materials synthesis, and the verification of material supply chains as well as pilot-scale production.”
