Presentation Electrolytes for Battery Sustainability and Safety: from Fluorine-Free Liquids to Solid Polymers
Dr. Guiomar Hernández is an Assistant Professor of Materials Chemistry at Uppsala University’s Department of Chemistry – Ångström Laboratory and the Ångström Advanced Battery Centre in Sweden. She earned her Ph.D. in Applied Chemistry and Polymeric Materials in 2017 from the University of the Basque Country. Her research group at Uppsala specializes in creating safe and sustainable solutions for next-generation battery technologies, focusing on advanced polymer electrolytes for lithium-ion, sodium-ion, and post-lithium batteries. She is dedicated to developing greener chemistry routes for battery components and improving recycling processes. Her published research is available on her Google Scholar profile.
