Dr. Xuejie Huang is currently a professor at the Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). He is also the Deputy Director of the Songshan Lake Materials Laboratory, and Chairman of the Editor-in-Chief of Energy Storage Science and Technology (CNKI,Scopus). Additionally, he serves as an expert in the overall group of the National Key R&D Program of New Energy Vehicles and the vice president of the China Battery Industrial Association. and Vice Chairman of the Solid State Ionics Branch of the Chinese Ceramic Society.
Since 1996, he has been chairing research, and industrialization works in lithium-ion batteries and their key materials at the Institute of Physics, CAS. His primary focus lies in the research of secondary lithium batteries and their related materials, process technologies, and equipment. He has published over 300 academic papers in international scientific journals and holds more than 80 patents. Additionally, he has spearheaded the establishment of multiple enterprises involved in the research, development, and production of lithium-ion batteries and related materials, such as Phylion, a global new energy application service provider in Suzhou city in 2003, successfully realizing the industrialization of lithium-ion power batteries.
