Mouad Dahbi

Dr. Dahbi  is an Associate Professor in Materials Chemistry and Electrochemistry at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University, Ben Guerir, Morocco. He received his PhD degree in Chemistry and Electrochemistry from University François Rabelais, France, in 2013 where his work was focused on the high-power asymmetric lithium-ion capacitor. He moved to Tokyo University of Science, Japan as postdoc in 2013 and became an Assistant Professor in 2015. His work focused on developing materials for negative electrodes and electrolytes for lithium-, sodium- and potassium-ion batteries, synthesis and characterization of materials and electrochemical evaluation of synthesized materials with due correlation. His current research focuses on developing high-energy density electrode materials system for efficient energy storage technology, and low-cost batteries based on the abundant elements in Earth’s Crust. Mouad Dahbi has authored/co-authored over 50 articles, and conference papers. Awarded two times best poster prize from International Society of Electrochemistry 63rd in August 2012, Prague and from Journées d’Electrochimie in July 2011, Grenoble. Member of International Society of Electrochemistry (ISE), and ElectroChemical Society of Japan (ECSJ). Qualified from “Conseil national des universités en France” (CNU) to become “Maitre de conférence” in; Section CNU31- Theoretical chemistry, physics, analytical and Section CNU33- Materials chemistry. He is also editor for the “CHEMISTRY” section of Scientific African journal, and external expert ANR (French National Research Agency).
