IMLB 2016 is pleased to announce that it has chosen ECS to publish papers from the 18th International Meeting on Lithium Batteries.
“IMLB 2016 is the premier international conference on the state of lithium battery science and technology. As a leader in electrochemistry and solid-state science and technology, with more than 110 years of publishing history, The Electrochemical Society is the perfect partner for the dissemination of the research presented at this meeting,” stated Dr. Khalil Amine, on behalf of the IMLB 2016 International Organizing Committee.
ECS Transactions, IMLB 2016
ECS will publish a volume of ECS Transactions (ECST) devoted to papers from IMLB 2016. ECST is an online database of full-text content of proceedings from ECS meetings and ECS-sponsored meetings.
ECST is a high-quality venue for authors and an excellent resource for researchers. The papers appearing in ECST are reviewed to ensure that submissions meet generally-accepted scientific standards.
- ECST submissions deadline for IMLB 2016 is July 3, 2016
All authors participating in IMLB 2016 will be sent a letter inviting them to submit to this special IMLB 2016 volume of ECST.
Journal of The Electrochemical Society
Special Focus Issue of Selected Papers
from IMLB 2016
ECS is pleased to announce that it will be publishing a special Focus Issue of Selected Papers from IMLB 2016 in the Journal of The Electrochemical Society (JES). Published continuously since 1902, JES maintains the highest standards of peer review — all manuscripts submitted to this issue of JES will undergo a rigorous, but effective and prompt, review process. This special Focus Issue will be entirely Open Access (OA), making this work freely available to scientists around the world. There will be no cost to the authors for OA publication in this issue because the Author Processing Charges will be covered by IMLB 2016 and ECS.
It is important to understand that JES follows an article-based publication model instead of an issue-based model. As soon as possible after acceptance, an article is published online into an “issue in progress.” The publication of the article is not embargoed; there is no delay or wait for an entire issue to be complete. Immediately upon publication the article is fully citable with volume, issue, and final page numbers that are not subject to change later. The standard lag time from acceptance to publication in an ECS journal is 10 days or less.
All corresponding authors of IMLB 2016 presentations (both poster and oral presentations) have been sent a letter inviting them to submit to this focus issue. Submit your manuscript to JES now at http://ecsjournals.msubmit.net and publish your IMLB manuscript as Open Access for free. The submission deadline is August 31, 2016.
