Oral presentations must be in English. A laptop computer and plasma screen will be available for your use at the lectern. Please bring your presentation on a USB flash drive only.
Poster Presentations and Sessions
All posters must be displayed in English, on a board approximately 3 feet 10 inches high by 3 feet 10 inches wide (1.17 meters high by 1.17 meters wide), and correspond to the abstract number and day of presentation as detailed in the final program. The paper title, number, names, and affiliations of all authors MUST be at the top of the display. Posters may be mounted beginning Monday at 1000h and will stay on display for the duration of the meeting. However, you will only be permitted to present your poster during your scheduled session as listed in the meeting program.
Abstracts will not be available on-site. We encourage you to print your abstracts prior to arrival or use the Wi-Fi on your electronic device to access them online.
ECS will publish a volume of ECS Transactions (ECST) devoted to papers from IMLB 2016. ECST is an online database of full-text content of proceedings from ECS meetings and ECS-sponsored meetings. ECST is a high-quality venue for authors and an excellent resource for researchers. The papers appearing in ECST are reviewed to ensure that submissions meet generally-accepted scientific standards. All authors participating in IMLB 2016 will be sent a letter inviting them to submit to this special IMLB 2016 volume of ECST.
Journal of The Electrochemical Society
Special Focus Issue of Selected Papers from IMLB 2016
ECS is pleased to announce that it will be publishing a special Focus Issue of Selected Papers from IMLB 2016 in the Journal of The Electrochemical Society (JES). Published continuously since 1902, JES maintains the highest standards of peer review — all manuscripts submitted to this issue of JES will undergo a rigorous, but effective and prompt, review process. This special Focus Issue will be entirely Open Access (OA), making this work freely available to scientists around the world. There will be no cost to the authors for OA publication in this issue because the Author Processing Charges will be covered by IMLB 2016 and ECS.
It is important to understand that JES follows an article-based publication model instead of an issue-based model. As soon as possible after acceptance, an article is published online into an “issue in progress.” The publication of the article is not embargoed; there is no delay or wait for an entire issue to be complete. Immediately upon publication the article is fully citable with volume, issue, and final page numbers that are not subject to change later. The standard lag time from acceptance to publication in an ECS journal is 10 days or less.
All corresponding authors of IMLB 2016 presentations (both poster and oral presentations) have been sent a letter inviting them to submit to this focus issue. Submit your manuscript to JES now at http://ecsjournals.msubmit.net and publish your IMLB manuscript as Open Access for free. The submission deadline is August 31, 2016.

Photography and Recording
By attending IMLB 2016, you agree that you will not record any meeting-related activity. Recording means any audiovisual or photographic methods. Meeting-related activity means any presentation (oral or poster) or social event directly related to the meeting. Press representatives must receive media credentials and recording permission from the IMLB Headquarters Office. If you violate this policy, you will be removed from the meeting. Your registration will be revoked and you will lose all access to the meeting. In this case, you will not receive a refund of the registration fees. ECS also reserves the right to deny your attendance at future ECS or ECS sponsored meetings. Thank you for your consideration.
